At the invitation of Academy of Social Democratic Party of Vienna (WBA), BAI attended the Chinese New Year online celebration on January 30th, as we were ringing out the old year and ring in the new. The celebration was hosted by WBA and participated by distinguished guests including Mr. Ernst Woller, President of the State Parliament in Vienna, S.E. Li Xiaosi, Chinese Ambassador to Austria, and Professor Richard Trappl, Director of the Confucius Institute in Vienna.

On behalf of BAI, Mr. Zhang Jun, vice president of BAI, and Mr. Zhang Haiping, Director of International Department attended the celebration. Zhang Jun took the opportunity to take stock of the past year and look into the future. Before he concluded his speech, he demonstrated that tiger denotes strength, vitality and courage in the Chinese culture, thus conveyed his best wishes to all in the year of Tiger. The guests also wished all those celebrating across the globe, a happy and prosperous Chines New Year.
