From 13th to 20th June, Ms.Wang Mei,
Director of the Finance Division and Lecturer of Economics, led a delegation to
visit the National Institute of Public Administration, Malaysia, University of
Putra, Malaysia and Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy, Vietnam. Members of the
delegation also include Ms. Wang Chunhong, Deputy Secretary of Party Affairs
Division and Associate Professor of Politics, Mr. Liu Jiang, Deputy Director of
Training Division, Ms. He Yan, Associate Professor of Economics Department, Ms.
Sun Yuxiu, Associate Professor of Economics Department, Mr. Li Zhong, Associate
Professor of Economics Department. Achievements were made in their visit: topics
of future cooperation were discussed during their stay in Malaysia and Academic
seminars on economics were held in Vietnam.
National Institute of Public Administration (INTAN), Malaysia
was founded in 1959 as an important body for cadre training. The leaders of
INTAN attached great importance to the delegation’s visit, Vice -President and
Directors from 9 departments received the delegates and participated the
meeting. Both sides also held in-depth discussions on teaching management
experiences, future cooperation and potential programs. The University of Putra
was set up in 1931, one of the largest universities of Malaysia. The Manager of
the Department of International Market, Director of the Language Centre and
delegates from the Department of Economics and the Department of Finance also participated
the meeting and exchanged views on research cooperation.
In Vietnam, the delegation visited Ho Chi Minh City Cadre
Academy, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Academy of Politics
Region 1. They received warm welcome from each academy and had shared opinions
on teaching and training experience in separate meetings. In academic seminars,
economic topics such as high-tech industry and rural development were discussed.
In field trip, the delegation also visit Cheras Industrial
Park, Malaysia, Agricultural Hi-tech Park of HCMCand had exchange with the
person in charge, harvested many first-hand materials.Positive results achieved
in this visit include three aspects: 1. There are many similarities between the
National Institute of Public Administration, Malaysia and BAI. Both sides share
the desire for future cooperation, especially academic exchanges; 2. The person
in charge of the Department of Economics in the University of Putra, Malaysia
showed strong interest in cooperation on academic research with BAI. The two
institutes also expressed initial cooperative expectations on the topics such
asBelt and Road Initiative (BRI); 3. The leaders
of Ho Chi Minh City Cadre Academy spoke highly of the academic exchange
activities between both sides. With common efforts, the two institutes had
deepened understanding, accumulated academic materials and strengthened mutual
trust through meeting discussions and field trips.
