BAI Delegation Completes the Visit to Brazil and Cuba

From September 21st to 27th,Prof. Tong Ping, Vice President of BAI, led a delegation to visit Brazil and Cuba, where they engaged in cooperation exploration and academic exchanges. Ms. Chen Qinghua from Chaoyang Administration Institute and Mr. Zhao Yong from Fengtai Administration Institute also participated in the visit.


In Brazil, BAI and The National School Of Public Administration(ENAP) signed a MoU on September 22nd .

On September 23rd, Prof. Tong Ping, Ms. Chen Qinghua, and Dr. Guo Yanli carried out academic exchanges on the theme of "Chinese Modernization and Democracy". Mr. Li Jinhong and Mr. Zhao Yong briefed on the topics of digital government and civil servant training. The delegation also met with Brazilian experts from the Brazil-China Public Administration research group at ENAP and the Ministry of Management and Innovation in Public Services (MGI) to discuss policy pilot projects, social governance, etc.

In Cuba, BAI and the Higher School for State and Government Cadres (ESCEG) signed a MoU on September 24th. The two sides shared and exchanged experiences in training party members and cadres.

On September 25th, the BAI delegation attended an seminar at ESCEG, sharing topics including Chinese Modernization, Swift Response to Public Requests, and Consultative Democracy, etc. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the ancient city site base in Havana to learn the practices of protecting historical and cultural heritage sites.
