The delegation from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration visits BAI

On October 25th, a delegation from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, led by the director of the Institute of Public Administration Ruslan Korchatkin, visited our institute with 3 colleagues. This visit is the first visit since the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two institutes in July this year.

Vice President Li Yunchi held formal talks with the Russian side on behalf of our institute, teachers from the International Exchange and Global Politics, Public Administration Department, and the Department of Law attended the meeting. Firstly, Li Yunchi stated that the delegation's visit coincided with the 16th BRICS Leaders' Meeting held in Kazan, Russia. President Xi Jinping attended the meeting in Russia and delivered a speech. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. Over the past 75 years, China Russia relations have gone through ups and downs.

Subsequently, director Ruslan Korchajing introduced the teaching system, departmental structure, number of teachers and students, civil servant training, international cooperation, and other related information of the RANEPA. Both parties had in-depth discussions on the cooperation project, demonstrating the high-level delegation visits, exchange of teachers and students, and journal cooperation. They focused on academic issues in international relations, law, public management, regional economy, digitization, the Greater Eurasian Union, national security, and proposed plans such as online teaching and participation in international conferences online or offline.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the institute history exhibition and the comprehensive building.
