On June 22, the 15-member delegation headed by Mr. V Soe Naing, the former minister of National Tourism Administration and USDP Central Authorities member, came to study in BAI. The vice president Liu Yang met the delegation. Dong Wu, director of Department of Public Administration of BAI, gave the lecture in emergency classroom.

Liu Yang introduced BAI’s civil servants training programs and methodology especially in emergency management. Meanwhile, Liu Yang wished the trip would be successful. Mr. V Soe Ning introduced the history and present condition of USDP. He pointed out China and Burma had deep friendship since the establishment of diplomatic relations 61 years ago. Recently, top leaders of the two countries declared to establish comprehensive strategic partnership, indicating the cooperation and relationship of the two sides reach a higher level.
Later on, both sides exchanged ideas about emergency management and the precautions against national calamities. Dong Wu introduced the strategy of Chinese emergency management and China’s experience on emergency control. He also gave a lecture to the guests about the emergency management training courses of Beijing Municipality by multimedia screen. After the lecture, guests asked some questions about China’s emergency system, precautions against national calamities and the education, reconstruction experience after disasters and so on. Mr. V Soe Naing introduced USDP’s experience in fighting against tropical rainstorm in 2008. In this national disaster, USDP spared no efforts in salvation and reconstruction. Finally, Mr. V Soe Naing expressed that USDP also wanted to establish its party school based on CPC’s experience. He expected to have further cooperation with BAI in a series of fields such as party building, public administration and social welfare system etc.
