Their theories and propositions are gradually valued by the society, and their representatives are increasingly entering the national Parliament and the European Parliament. The European Green Party was founded in January 1984. It was formerly known as the Bureau for Coordination of Ecological Groups in Western Europe.

Ecological balance has ethical significance; The blind growth of material production in capitalist society and the "bureaucracy" in socialist countries must be criticized; We should control the development of science and technology, rather than blindly worshiping the progressiveness of science and technology; We should also criticize traditional values, consumption views, happiness views, etc., further coordinate interpersonal relationships, promote grassroots democracy, oppose violence and war, and maintain peace.
