From November 25 to 29, 2025, a delegation from Beijing Administration Institute (BAI) participated in the 2nd International Forum on Highly Effective Governance and Public Service Modernization in Algiers, co-hosted by the National School of Administration of China and Algeria’s Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport.

As an important follow-up to the outcomes of the 2023 China-Algeria presidential meeting, the forum gathered over 350 experts and officials from China, Algeria, Mauritania, Egypt and other countries.
As the sole invited provincial-level administrative institute, three faculty member from the BAI delegation delivered keynote speeches at parallel sessions, sharing Beijing’s experience and Chinese wisdom on grassroots governance, urban safety and resilience. They also briefed counterparts on BAI’s background and expressed strong willingness to enhance long-term cooperation with Algerian institutions.
This participation has demonstrated BAI’s academic strength, broadened the international horizons of its faculty members, and boosted the development of disciplines including public administration—thus lending valuable impetus to the advancement of China-Algeria bilateral relations.
