Ambassador of Australia to China visited BAC

In the afternoon of March, 12th, the ambassador of Australia to China, Ms Frances Adamson, and other six members from the Embassy visited BAC. Entrusted by Executive Vice President Wang Minzhong, Vice President Han Jiugen met the delegation.

In the Meeting

Han firstly extended his warm welcome to the delegation, on behalf of the BAC; then he briefed the ambassador on our experience in the training of civil servants, education of graduates and international cooperation and exchange; Han also communicated with the ambassador over the cultural exchanges between China and western countries since Ming and Qing Dynasties and answered questions that interested the members. Besides, the two sides explored the way of strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Australia in the areas of training civil servants and core teachers. After the meeting, the group headed for the Cemetery of Matteo Ricci and other foreign missionaries.

The envoy and councilors from the division of politics and division of culture also accompanied the ambassador during the visit. On our part, Director Liang Jun, Chen Cong, Han Xue and Hu Yu from the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange met the group together with Vice President Han Jiugen.
